HUBBARDTON - The funeral service in celebration of the life of Edna Fairbanks-Williams, 77, who died May 10, 2010, was held Friday, May 14, at the Mallory Funeral Home in Fair Haven.Center Grange #290 conducted a ceremony officiated by Jean Henske, chaplain, and Joseph Goodrich, master of the lodge. Marie Goodrich was the organist.Eulogists were Karen Lafayette, legislative advocate for Vermont Low Income Advocacy Council, Rep. Peter Welch, Tom Garrett of Vermont Law Services, Vermont Supreme Court Justice John Dooley and other state and local leaders.Private burial will take place at a late date in Randolph Center Cemetery.Arrangements were under the direction of the Mallory Funeral Home in Fair Haven.
