Edith Williams, 88, of Farmland, IN passed away Saturday afternoon, December 13, 2014 at AMG Specialty Hospital of Muncie, IN. She was born December 6, 1926 in Randolph County, IN the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Bentz) Weist. Edith owned and operated with her husband, Eugene, Williams Printing of Farmland, IN from 1958 to 1990. She later worked at Silvertowne of Winchester, IN for many years. She enjoyed spending her leisure time gardening, and cooking and baking for church bake sales. She was a faithful member of Farmland Christian Church of Farmland, IN.She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Stanley E. Williams (wife, Lisabeth) of Toney, AL; three daughters, Marsha Jester (husband, Hal) of Knightstown, IN, Tammy Bousman (husband, Randy) of Farmland, IN and LeAnn Williams-Greer (husband, Rusty) of Greenville, OH; five grandchildren, Holly Tapscott (husband, James) of Cabot, AR, Susan Logan (husband, Michael) of Indianapolis, IN, Daniel Jester of Greenfield, IN, Jayme Klisavage of Farmland, IN and Lance E. Greer of Greenville, OH; three great grandchildren, Elijah, Zion and Sarai Logan; two brothers, Roger Weist (wife, Elva) of Greenville, OH and Ralph Weist (wife, Florence) of Athens, AL; and a sister, Dorothy Shandy of Winchester, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene; and several brothers and sisters.A service to celebrate Edith's life will be 10 am Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Farmland Christian Church of Farmland, IN with Rev. Dr. Gary Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery of Winchester, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4-8 pm Tuesday, December 16th at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Farmland Christian Church Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
