EDITH THOMPSON 1945 - 2010 Edith "Marilyn" Thompson, of Pace, passed away July 4, 2010 at Santa Rosa Hospital. Marilyn was born August 15, 1945 at Eglin Air Force Base. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Venetia Atkinson, and her sons, Roy A. Thompson and Charles E. Thompson Jr. She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Thompson, Sr.; her beloved daughter, Amy Thompson; sister, Tommie Jean Ballard; niece, Venetia J. Ballard; nephews, Bryen Ballard (April), Brad Ballard, and Bill Thompson, Jr. (Sandra); her grandchildren, Brandon Thompson, Roy A. Thompson, Jr. (Boo), Nicci Clayton and Autumn Thompson; and great-grandson, Cayden Busbee. Viewing will be at Saint Rosa of Lima on July 8, 2010 at 1:00 pm and the funeral will follow at 2:00 pm with Father Nicholas Schumm officiating. Interment will follow at Elizabeth Chapel in Chumuckla. Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
