MATLACHA, Fla. -- Edith Martin Todd, 96, a resident of Matlacha and formerly of Lowell, Mass., died Sunday, March 25, at the Hospice House in North Fort Myers. She was the wife of the late Gerald F. Todd.She was born in Somerville, Mass., Jan. 26, 1911. She was educated at Burdette College in Boston.Mrs. Todd worked many years as an executive assistant at various United States government locations including the Pentagon and Vietnam.She is survived by a son, John B. Todd of Matlacha; five grandchildren, Michael Todd of Bolton, Mass., Kathleen Todd-Seymour of Massachusetts, Laurie Gross of Chatham, Mass., Lisa Todd-Kurtz of Weston, Conn., and Dennis Todd of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; five great-grandchildren.Interment will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery in Tewksbury.
