ALTON, Edith I. With sadness we announce the passing of Edith I. Alton of Leduc, formerly of Thorsby on February 19, 2005 at the age of 95 years. Edith is survived by her loving family; Wilfred Alton on Red Deer, Ronald (Irene) Alton of Sherwood Park, James (Lorna) Alton of Sherwood Park, Joan (Clifford) Erickson of Drayton Valley, George (Judy) Alton of Leduc and Deborah (Ken) Murray of Calgary; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Alma Bentley of Westbank, BC and Lena (Fred) Nystrom of Slave Lake. Edith was predeceased by her husband Edward Alton in 1982, a grandson and two brothers. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Thorsby United Church, Thorsby with Pastor Phyllis Greenslade officiating.
