BINNS, Edith A. - (Proud member of the Springmount Women's Institute and Central Westside United Church) - Peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, January 26, 2009. Edith Binns (nee Thompson) of Owen Sound in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Binns (1980). Dear mother of Marian Wallis and her husband Ian of Orillia and Elizabeth Laycock and her husband Don of Brampton. Sadly missed by four grandchildren Katherine Wallis and her husband Gerry Maw, Andrea Wallis and her husband Gordon Dol, Elaine Wallis and her husband David Burns and Maureen Wallis-Borrelli and her husband Enzo and ten great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Margaret Courtney of Zurich and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers Ernest and Wheaton Thompson. Friends are invited to the TANNAHILL FUNERAL HOME for visiting on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and at Central Westside United Church on Friday morning from 10 a.m. to service time. The funeral service will be conducted from Central Westside United Church on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery.
