Anniston - Funeral services for Edgar Lee "Sonny" Johnson, 69, will be on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at noon at the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Frederick Durant. Burial will be in the New Hope CME Church Cemetery, Bynum. Mr. Johnson passed away on January 6, 2014 at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Johnson, of Anniston; sons, Frederick (Priscilla) Ashford, of Eastaboga, Tervino (Carmen) Johnson, of Anniston, Darrius Johnson, of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Willie (Harriet) Johnson, of Buda, Texas, Gary (Denise) Johnson, of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Tory, Zakiya, Tray, Brittney, Tyrickus, DeAndre, Krystal and Darneka; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
