ObituaryEarl 'Bro' Hamilton was born on April 3, 1943 in Ft. Myers, FL as the second of three sons born to Mr. & Mrs. Earl and Julia Mae Hamilton. He was suddenly taken away on August 20, 2004. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Hamilton; Mother, Julia Mae Hamilton, and brother, Rufus James Hamilton. He is survived by his older brother, Alexander (Celia) Hamilton, his loving wife of 44 years, Jacqueline Louise Hamilton, and their 6 children: Sharon Louise Hamiton, Margaret Louise Hamilton, Mabel Beatrice Hamilton, Earl (Valerie) Hamilton, Jr., Tyron (Theresa) Hamilton, and Catina (Henrik) Hamilton-Romer. Also missing him are 16 grandchildren: Antonia Hernandez (Jeff Burlison), Antonio Hernandez, Dontavious Hernandez, Quayshawn Hamilton, Jo'Shawn Hamilton, Shar'quez Hamilton, Shainiee Knight, Jaharia Clemmons, Shawntavious Dawson, Dawayne Jackson, Brandon Wiggins, Dion Wiggins, Tavarsha Hamilton, Tyler Hamilton, Tyrone Hamilton, Jr., Natillia Romer, Jordan Romer, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He will also be missed by his good friends Zep Upshaw and Walt Thorton. Earl was a loyal employee of Bayside Drywall and Plastering, Inc., for over 18 years, teaching others the art of stucco. He was a great friend and a teacher to many. Viewing on Friday, August 27th at Hickson Funeral Home at 6:00 PM. Funeral on Saturday, August 28th at 11:00 AM at Jerusalem Church, 2250 Palm Ave., in Ft. Myers.
