EVA TERESAFLEMING, 84 FROSTPROOF - Eva Teresa Fleming passed away in her home on Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was the 12th of 13 children. Eva Fleming was born September 17, 1929, in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. She moved to Oneco, Connecticut when she was 15 and attended Plainfield High. Eva got married to James Robert Fleming on May 30, 1947. Eva worked at the Wool Mill in Taftville and then in Yantic, CT. She then worked as a Nurse's Aide at Norwich Town Convalescent Home and eventually retired from Uncas on the Thames Hospital as a Housekeeper. Eva liked to bowl, sew, knit and play shuffleboard. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Robert Fleming, Sr. and her children: Mary-Ellen and her husband James Smith, Ruth Ann and her husband Dennis Delesio, Priscilla May Fleming, James Robert Fleming, Jr., Diane Lyn and her husband Mark Colyer, Keith Allen Fleming and his wife Betty, along with 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by one grandson, Tye Lewis. The family requests no flowers and no services will be held. Eva was much loved by her husband, children and grandchildren and will surely be missed.
