Esther Dorothy Williams departed this life on January 31, 2001. She was born on August 29, 1904 in Warwick, Bermuda to the late Susan Seymour and Clarence Perinchief. Esther was married to the late George Williams and was a member of the Runyon Heights Improvement Assoc., Sr. Citizen Group #8, Womens Civic Club of Nepperhan, N.A.A.C.P. and the Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church where she served as Vice Chairman of the Trustee Board, Mother Of The Church, President of the Deaconess Board and the Pastors Aide. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Raymond J. and Edwin T. Williams and Dorothy Willis, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, George, John and Lennard Williams, 6 sisters, and 3 brothers. Reposing Sunday, 3-5 and 7-9 at the Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church, 76 Belknap Ave., Yonkers. Funeral Service, Monday 11 am at the church. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
