ERRICKSON, ERIC, 76A Celebration of Life for Eric Andrew Errickson, age 76, of Ocala, will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 2 until 4:30 p.m. at the Old Courthouse in Inverness, Florida. A gathering time will be followed by a sharing of memories and music by friends and local musicians. Eric was adamant about this event; he wanted a New Orleans-style celebration with music and barbeque; lots of music and lots of barbeque. We want to honor his wishes. He and his wife of 40 years, Vivian, spent every summer at the Travelers Country Club on the Mississippi, Clear Lake, MN. When his prostate cancer recurred after a ten year hiatus, he chose to be treated in Minnesota, close to family. Sadly, the disease did not respond to the excellent treatment provided by the Centra Care physicians and staff. Eric died December 12, 2012 at the Quiet Oaks Hospice home in St. Augusta, MN. Eric is survived by his wife, Vivian Lillie Errickson, Ocala, FL.; his children, Kurt (Cathlyn Garrett), St. Paul, MN, Heidi (Jon Grahek), Centerville, MN and Arthur (Kate Bronson), St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Claudia and Iris Errickson and William and Devin Grahek; and his sister Sonja (Jerry) Franklin, Kansas City, KS.
