DOWNEY, ELIZABETH JANE Age 49,passed away, November 9, 2012. Liz was born July 29, 1963 in Birmingham, AL. She is survived by her son, Samuel Richard Downey II, her mother Jun Burroughs, aunts Joy West and Sue Hassler (Doug) and a host of loving friends. Liz is preceded in death by her father James W. Burroughs. A graveside service will be on Tuesday, November 13,2012 at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Cemetery. The family request that donations be made to the Birmingham Humane Society.
