Born in Elmodel, GA, she moved to Umatilla from Tavares in 1960. She was a member of Umatilla Womens Club and the Umatilla Garden Club. She graduated from Florida State College for Women, Tallahassee, FL - Tri Sigma Sorority. She taught 2nd grade at Lee Elementary School for seven years. Survivors: Daughter, Frances Dover, Havana, FL; Son, Marion F. Austin, Keyston Heights, FL; Brothers, Robert N. 'Bobby' Adams, Leesburg, FL, Ira B. 'Buster' Adams, Jr., Deland, FL; Sister, Katherine Murphy, Port Orange, FL; Four Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Friday September 20, 2002, at Morrison United Methodist Church Chapel - Leesburg, FL with Reverend Barry W. Lane Officiating.
