SMITH, Eleanor Ruth Brooks, age 79 of Glenwood Road, Luverne, Ala-bama died Thursday, September 8, 2005 at her residence. Funeral serv-ices are 2 pm Sunday, September 11, 2005 at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with Reverend Jay Driver officiating. Interment will fol-low at Goodhope Cemetery.Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons: Robert Harris Smith of Gantt, Ala-bama, Kenneth Brooks Smith of Lu-verne, Alabama; one daughter: Elaine Dale Wood of Luverne, Ala-bama; five grandchildren: Charles David Wood, Jason Dale Wood, Jerrod Andrew Wood, Misha Smith and Robert Smith II; five great grandchildren; two sisters: Merle Webb of Andalusia, Alabama and Wiila Dean Rotten of Troy, Alabam-a.Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband: Aubrey H. Smith and By Hazel Joyce Brooks.Pallbearers will be David Wood, Ja-son Wood, Jerrod Wood, Robert Smith II, Lynn Rotten and Kenneth Smith.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Sat-urday at Foreman's and at the fu-neral home prior to services Sun-day.
