EDNA MARION CLARK (nee MacKINNON) Wife of George Clark (deceased, CBC Retiree), passed peacefully in her 93rd year, after a lengthy battle with leukemia, on January 27, 2015 at the Markham Stouffville Hospital. Loving and devoted mother to Michael (Jennifer, Sidney, Vancouver Island), George and Ian and beloved grandmother (Nanny) to Jarrod, Amber, Justeen, Meghan and Devon. Edna will be fondly remembered by siblings Roland, Alice and Clifford, her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and countless friends and relatives whose lives she touched. Edna was born on March 22, 1922 in Ingonish Ferry, Cape Breton, to Donald John and Mary Jane MacKinnon and was predeceased by siblings Anne, Angus and Earle. She spent her life caring for others, helping to raise her grandchildren and other family members. Kind, generous and selfless, Edna was also known for her quick wit, storytelling, wonderful sense of humour and being a positive influence on all who knew her. Her unconditional love and caring heart will be sadly missed by her immediate and extended family. A Memorial/Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Warden House located at 8840 Warden Ave. in Unionville, from 1 - 3 p.m. A Memorial/Interment will be held late July 2015 in Ingonish Ferry, Cape Breton. Donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (research) would be welcomed.
