Funeral service for Edna L. Walker, 96, of Port Orange, who died Sunday, March 13 at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab Center will be Thursday March 17 at 1:00 PM at the Shannon Maloney Funeral Home, 4084 Halifax Drive, Port Orange, with the Rev. Kevin Mahoney, pastor of Rima Ridge Baptist Church, Ormond Beach, officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Port Orange. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 6-8 PM. Mrs. Walker was born in Danville, Illinois, and came to this area in 1963 from Mattoon, Illinois. She was a retired grill cook for a restaurant. She is survived by three sons, Millard (Dud) Walker, Holly Hill, Melvin (Wayne) Walker (Helga), Modesto, California, Marty Walker (Nancy), Clearwater, FL; two daughters, Meredith (Ree) Dudley, Port Orange, and Marilyn (Katy) Weber (Gary), Palatka, FL; 21 grandchildren; 42 great grandchihldren; and 14 great great grandchildren.
