E. Virginia Smith LAWRENCEVILLE - E. Virginia Smith, 89, of Lawrenceville passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, in St. Joseph's Skilled Nursing Center, Lawrenceville, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, Miss Smith was a former resident of Hamilton, Morrisville, PA, and Pennington. She was a retiree of Champale Brewery, where she was employed as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her cousins, their families and her many friends. Daughter of the late Edgar and Edith Smith, Miss Smith is survived by three cousins, Janet Stinger, Robin Reba and Muriel Maloney; her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Jim Stacy, and her nephew, Richard Stacy. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
