May 5, 2005 Dwayne E. Smith, 43, of Syracuse, and formerly of Mobile, AL, died at his home following a short illness. Surviving are his wife, Lisa A. Smith, and his son, Ernest Smith, both of Syracuse; father, George (Rosa) Smith Sr. of Ohio; mother, Delores Smith of AL; grandmother, Cloteal Jackson of AL; sister, Patricia Porsise of TX; brothers, George Smith Jr. and Kenneth Smith, both of AL; niece, Devena Smith, and nephew, Gary Smith, both of AL; godson, Nasjere Bowman of Syracuse. He was predeceased by his sister, Juanita Coleman. Memorial services will held Tuesday, May 10, at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Holiness Church, 310 Hatch St., Syracuse, NY 13205.
