-> Doy Donald Williams, 89, of Savannah died Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at Riverview Nursing Home under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc. Mr. Doy was born in Jenkins Co., GA and had lived in Savannah since the late 1930s. He was retired from Union Camp as a painter after 35 years. Doy was a long time member of Whitefield United Methodist Church and was a long standing Mason. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Ruth Williams; his parents, Lester L. and Arna Lee Davis Williams; two brothers, Quincy and Elton Williams, a sister, Alvida Bennett. Survivors: his only living son and daughter-in-law, Doy Earl and Adele Williams of Garland, TX; his good friend Helen Moore; three brothers, Buck Williams, Ralph Williams, and Ron Williams; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Anthony Perrone officiating.
