Dovie Woody Dobbins BOSTIC, NC-- Dovie Woody Dobbins, 86, of 2033 Bostic Sunshine Hwy, Bostic, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Columbus, NC. A native of Spartanburg County, she was born November 7, 1924. A daughter of the late John and Maude Crowder Woody. She was a home maker and of the Baptist Faith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn B. Dobbins. She is survived by three sons, Bobby Woody of Campobello, SC, Clifford Woody of Campobello, SC, and Roy Woody of Bostic, NC; four daughters, Karen Dobbins of Bostic, NC, Irene Wilkerson of Campobello, SC, Emmie Smith of Bostic, NC, and Mary Hines of Campobello, SC; fifteen grandchildren, many wonderful great-grandkids; and some precious great-great-grandkids. Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2011, at South Side Baptist Church in Landrum, SC with Dr. John Fortner officiating. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at McKInney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Littlejohn officiating.
