DOUGLAS LYNN McINTYRE Passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007, surrounded by his loving wife and family at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Cynthia for 61 years, loving Dad of Ronald (Anthea) and Paula (Ron), cherished Grandad of Jessica, Katie, Adam, Kevin and Amanda. Sadly missed by his brothers Jack (Linley) and Herbert of Australia. Predeceased by his mother, Charlotte, his father Donald and his brothers, Ginger and Don. Also greatly missed by many family members and loving and loyal friends. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of I.C.U. at O.T.M.H. for their care and kindness during these difficult five weeks. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, on Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., where Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery, Oakville.
