WINCHESTER ANDERSON, DOUGLAS LYNN, 56 , left this Earth for his Heavenly home on Friday, July 30, 2004. He was a minister of the Lord, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Born in Louisville, Doug was the son of Reverend Dedia and Ethel Anderson. Doug was a graduate of Valley High School and Campbellsville College. Before teaching and coaching football at Montgomery County High School, Mr. Anderson was ordained into the ministry by Bethlehem Baptist Church in 1972. He served the congregations of churches throughout the country, including Maryland, Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana, and served on missions to India. He is survived by his wife and partner of nearly 35 years, Lois Ann Anderson, and sons, Chris Anderson of Mount Sinai, NY, Jeff Anderson of Richmond, VA, and Jonathan Anderson of Campbellsville, KY. Additionally, Mr. Anderson, "Pop-pop," was the grandfather of six, Hannah Grace, Jackson Shiloh, Noah Christian, Chloe Morgan, Benjamin Isaac and Lillian Faith. Doug had one brother, David, of Paradise, CA, and three sisters, Janice Carlisle of Clarksville, IN, Sue Anderson of Shepherdsville, KY, and Judy Maddox of Louisville. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2004, at Calvary Christian Church in Winchester.
