DOUGLAS JACK CARTER With his family at his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, March 2nd, 2009. Doug, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Muriel. Loving father of Shirley Trowsse (Peter Tomas) of Etobicoke. Dear grandfather of Julie and Frank Merkley and of Tara Trowsse. Great-grandfather of Taylor and Emelina Merkley. Brother of Alma Riddiford of Aurora and of the late Hazel Kashul and Fred Carter. Uncle of many nieces and nephews and fondly remembered by nephew John and wife Pam Johnston of Oshawa.
