NELSON, Dortha "Dot" Jean, 70, of Zephyrhills, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008, at home, surrounded by family members and friends. She was born March 16, 1937, in Lupton City, Tenn., to Charles Harrison and Pearl Baggett Harrison. She was employed by East Pasco Medical Center for 21 years and greatly enjoyed her job. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her daughter, Roberta Jean Henderson, and two brothers, Charles Harrison and Thomas Harrison. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Ann Henderson; her son, David Henderson, and daughter-in-law, Heather Marie Henderson; two grandchildren, Thomas L. Henderson and David L. Henderson; sister, Lillie McDowell; brother, Melvin Harrison; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited 5-7 Wednesday, March 12, at Hodges Family Funeral Home 36327 Highway 54, Zephyrhills. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family request donations be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice of Dade City or the Florida Hospital Zephyrhills Foundation, in lieu of flowers.
