Williams Dorothy Edwards Williams, lovingly known as "Dottie Baby" transitioned this life at the age of 85 on Thursday, August 7, 2014 in Coral Springs, FL. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Friday (tomorrow) at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850) 942-1950.Burial will follow in Southside Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 3-7:30 p.m. today at Tillman's. A Tallahassee native, "Dottie Baby" was a graduate of Florida A&M University. Prior to retiring, she had been a teacher in the schools of Broward and Dade counties for over 35 years. Preceding her in death were her son, Willard Leander "Billy" Williams and her parents, Earl and Estell Gilliam Edwards.Survivors include her sister, Earlynn Rhodriquez; cousins, Charlyn Johnson, William Hutchinson III, the Gilliam and Holiday families; and numerous other relatives and friends.
