AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mrs. Dorothy R. Dixon of Wharton Drive entered into rest Monday, June 28, 2004 at the St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Dr. Gregory Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. She was a native of Richmond County, Ga., a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she worked with the Mission, taught Sunday School and was a Deaconess. Survivors are one son, James Calvin Davis, grandson, Tyrone Davis, great-grandson; Ty Shine, one sister; Doretha Johnson, one brother; Odell Oakman, Baxley, Ga.; two nephews; Victor and Byron Johnson, Atlanta, a host of cousins and friends.
