SMITH, Dorothy PatriciaIt is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Dorothy Patricia Smith (nee Brown) announce her passing, at the age of 79, on October 30, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Donald and their five children: Marilyn (Ray) Newman, Shirley (Raymond) Langdeau, Lorraine (Rocky) Morrow, Diane (TomNeil) Cloke, Brian (Jennifer) Smith; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her son Edward (1977), sisters Alice and Margaret and brothers Ernest and Paul. Family and friends were Dorothy's pride and joy and she treasured the time she spent with them!A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Church, 10409 – 100th Ave, Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
