Dorothy-Patricia Davis, est décédée le 6 septembre 1919.
DAVIS, Dorothy Patricia September 6th, 1919 March 13th, 2008. Pat leaves behind four children, Pam, Penny, Bud, and Paul, as well as grandchildren Kate, Mark, Jamie, Ian, Margot, and Alan, and six great-grandchildren. Our mother gave her talents in many ways, from her work as a volunteer, helping children with autism at Queen Alexandria Solarium, to running Hugh Curtis' office during the Social Credit years. She was a great support to our father, Trevor, while he was, first, an alderman, and then mayor, of North Saanich. Fighting the rapidly growing trend of land subdivision was her second focus. Her first was raising us four kids, always with a philosophy of Know which battles are worth the fight." Mom was a keen bridge player, and will leave behind many good friends, some who go back fifty years or more. She was also a supporter of Mount Newton Centre, helping with the phone banks and doing whatever she could to contribute to the cause of Alzheimer's Disease. Alas this dreaded disease came to her, too, and her ability to help was not able to keep up with her desire to contribute. But her faithful friends kept playing bridge with her to the end bless them all how we love you Mom's bridge friends! By our mother's own request, there will be an intimate family gathering to scatter her ashes. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mount Newton Centre, or a charity of your choice, would be received with gratitude. 454070
