NEWTON Newton, Dorothy, 83, of Delray Beach passed away suddenly on August 17, 2002. Dorothy was married for 45 years to her loving husband Charles B. Newton who passed away in 1985. They traveled extensively and met many of the worlds royalties. She had a fabulous and successful career with Elizabeth Arden Cosmetics on 5th Avenue in New York City. Dorothy will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity. She is survived by her beloved niece Dolores Macia of Boca Raton. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 21, 2002 from 2PM to 4PM with a 3:30PM rosary service at the LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 North Federal Highway, Delray Beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 22, 2002, 10:30AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach. Entombment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Mausoleum in Royal Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent Ferrer School Endowment Fund in Dorothy's memory.
