DAVY, Dorothy May (nee Jones). Passed away peacefully and with dignity at the Lakeshore General Hospital on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the age of eighty-nine. She was predeceased by her husband, George Edward, and her brothers, Alan and Jimmy. Proud mother of Bill (Jo-Ann MacPhee) of Mississauga, George (Nicole Gascon) of Windsor, Susan (Murray Hodgson) of Montreal. Loving grandmother to Tom (Cathy Kennedy, Jen and Chris), Nicholas (Christina Elsdon) and Stephanie of Windsor, Derek (Ariel), Andrew (Skye) of Toronto and Jacqueline (Spencer Olson) of Gatineau. Precious great-grandmother to Natalie, Alyssa, Erin and Ryan, Adam and Jordan. Will be missed by her sister-in-law Ethel Jones, and fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews and their families. She will always be remembered by the friends she made on Trenholme Avenue in N.D.G., at Grenville, Lake MacGillvary, Palm Bay, Florida, Montreal West United Church, Cedar Park United Church, Briarwood Presbyterian Church and Villa Saint Louis Residence. Mom was always up for a good game of bridge with her friends and never failed to finish the daily crossword puzzle. Her many cards and best wishes connected all her family and her friends. We will all miss her telephone calls. She is at peace now. Visitation at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, 70 Beaconsfield Blvd., Beaconsfield, on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Interment private.In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence would be appreciated.
