Athens - Dorothy May (Estep) Brooks, 801 Riverhill Dr., Athens, Georgia, died April 21, 2005. Born May 29, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie (Coburn) Estep. She was the widow of Everett Brooks. A daughter, Pansy Ashbein, a son, Carl, and a granddaughter, Sheila preceded her in death.Survivors include a son, John of Athens, Georgia, a son, Gilbert, of Chicago, Illinois, five granddaughters, one grandson, two great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons. Other survivors include a sister, Frances and adopted brother, James, two nieces and three nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 27, 2005 in the Chapel at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana with interment to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.Bridges Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
