Dorothy Marie Peters, 86, died Nov. 9, 2012. She was born in East St. Louis, Ill., and lived in Illinois until 1945, then living in Miami for many years, before moving to Port St. Lucie six years ago. She was a homemaker and worked in the day care of First Baptist Church in Hialeah. Survivors include her daughter, Rochelle Fiebelkorn of Port St. Lucie; sons, Rickey Peters of Columbus, Ga., and Steven Peters of Haymarket, Va.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Peters; brother, Bud Thompson; and sister, Georgia Oliver. Services: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. with a funeral service at 4 p.m. Nov. 15 at Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Port St. Lucie Chapel.
