<!-- Dorothy Marie JACKSON--> JACKSON, Dorothy Marie Died August 28, 2009 at the age of 80. Her husband, Rev. Neil E. Jackson, Jr. preceded her in death. Her three children, David Jackson, Karen Seifert and Jonathan Jackson; two grandsons, Christopher Jackson and Brent Jackson; her sister, Jean Chambers, survive Mrs. Jackson. Memorial service 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Gallatin. Mrs. Jackson was a graduate of Bob Jones University. She and Rev. Jackson began their married life as missionaries in Arkansas. She taught high school in New Orleans, LA and was a social worker for the mentally handicapped in Nashville. At church, she sang in the choir, played piano, taught, answered the prayer line and volunteered at the hospital. We know she is in a better place. But we miss her, and love her so much. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you donate to a church or charity of your choice.
