<!-- FH = AIKENS FUNERAL HOME --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->HALL, Dorothy Mae Callahan Homegoing services for Dorothy, of Tampa, who passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, will be held on Saturday, March 1, 11 am, at St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 E. Chipco St., Tampa, FL 33605, Rev. Bartholomew Banks, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Dorothy attended the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Don Thompson High School, 1949, where she was a majorette and played on the girl's basketball team. She was a member of St. John Progressive M.B. Church. She was a foster grandparent at United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay for 12 years until 2011. She was affectionately called "Dot" and "Grandma Dot". Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hezekiah Callahan Jr.; grandson, Cedric Eugene Wilson; and step-grands. Survived by children, Norma Hall Marshall, Melinda Ann Hall, Olivia Bass Wilson and Albert Bass Jr. (Loshell); step-children, Willie Clyde Hall (Lo-uise), Lee Edward Hall, Barbara Lucille Johnson & Kathy Murillo; grands, Cory Wilson (Candice), Evelyn Hall (Edward), Demetre-ious Bass (Kaleena), Laquisha Denise Bass, Lashawnda Monique Bass, Laquita Shantel Bass and Tamarick Keyshawn Bass; step-grands; great-grands; step-great-grands; and a host of other devoted family and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, Friday, Feb. 28, from 5-8 pm. Family will receive guest from 6-7 pm. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service at 10:45 am.
