ObituaryDorothy M. Murphy, 73, of Ft. Myers, died December 21, 2001. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Claude and Ethel Waddell Duvall and had resided in Zanesville until moving to Ft. Myers in 1978. Mrs. Murphy was of the Christian faith. Survivors include two sons, Harold T. Murphy, Jr., of Ft. Myers and Jerry Murphy and wife Margaret of Zanesville; a sister, Theresa Brosie and husband Charles of Zanesville; three brothers, Claude Duvall of Zanesville, Steve Duvall and wife Joanie of Canton, GA., and Eddie Duvall and wife Ruth of Homosassa Springs, FL.; seven grandchildren including three she helped raise, Kevin, Michelle and Shannon Murphy; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Murphy, Sr., in 1992; her son, Jospeh A. Murphy, a brother, James O. Duvall and a nephew, Jon Duvall. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday at the Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
