McCORMACK Dorothy M. (nee Connor) passed away peacefully Saturday, January 24, 2009 at home with her family by her side. Born in Ireland, she lived in Bronx, NY then Dumont, NJ and finally to Berkeley Twp., NJ in 1996. She is a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, Berkeley Twp., NJ and a past member of their Rosarian Club. She is also a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and a member of the Roscommon Society. She is predeceased by her two sisters, Patricia Connor and Alice Deehan. Dorothy is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Thomas G. McCormack and loving mother of seven children&#58; Roger (Debbie) of Virginia Beach, VA, Thomas (Maureen) of Toms River, NJ, Dorothy Knight (Robert) of Toms River, NJ, Bernadette Dore (Thomas) of Dumont, NJ, John of Ringwood, NJ, Ann Bischer (Joseph) of Dumont, NJ, Alice Osmers (Frank) of Brick, NJ. Dorothy was a cherished grandmother of fourteen. She is survived by her loving brother John Martin Connor (Birdie) of Ireland, and loving sister Mary McCorry (Owen) of Pearl River, NY. She was a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dorothy also leaves behind a lifetime worth of friends and will be dearly missed. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ 08757. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday 10&#58;30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, Berkeley Twp. Burial will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
