->Lee, Dorothy M.Groton: Dorothy M. Lee, 83, of 200 West South St., Groton, died October 20, 2011 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Born April 15, 1928 in Myers, NY she was the daughter of the late Howard and Jennie Inman Parks. She had been a lifelong resident of the Groton area and had been a faithful member of the Cortland Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed searching for antiques, helping others and being involved with her family. She is survived by her children, George Lee of College Station, TX, Tim Lee and Anne Marie Dexter, both of Groton, and Kathleen Moore of Freeville. She is also survived by her sisters, Shirley Woodward of Newfield, Blanche Volbrecht of King Ferry and Marlene McCall. Brothers, Elbert Parks, Ivan Robinson, Larry Drake, Ronnie Parks, Jim Parks and Charles Drake also survive her as well as 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Claude Lee, in 2004. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cortland Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Cummings officiating. Interment will be in Scott Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Youth Group at the Bible Baptist Church in Dorothy's memory. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Zirbel Funeral Home, 115 Williams Street, Groton.
