Dorothy M. Johnson, 78, Sarasota, died May 22, 2004. She was born Feb. 3, 1926, in Ossining, N.Y., and came to Sarasota in 2001 from Falmouth, Mass. She was a sales associate in a department store and a used clothing store. She was a Catholic. Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen of Sarasota; a son, Eric S. of Duxbury, Mass.; and six grandchildren. Services and burial will be in Massachusetts, where Nickerson Funeral Home, Bourne, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
