Born July 13, 1926, in West Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Josephine Lucas. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Carmen Lucas Owens and Sara Walsh and her husband "T", all of Spartanburg; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Baxter Owens; and son, Michael Henry Owens. Private family services will be conducted.
