DOROTHY LINDAALLEN, 64Homemaker WINTER HAVEN - Ms. Dorothy Linda Allen, age 64, died Thursday, June 28, 2007 at her home in Winter Haven from cancer. She was a homemaker and avid gardener, raising orchids and roses. She was born in Jakin, GA and settled in Florida in the summer of 1955. She is survived by her three children, James Wilkes, Auburndale, John Wilkes, Eagle Lake, and Sharon Gursky, Winter Haven, brothers Pete "Rock" Hudson, Lakeland and Joseph Hudson, Winder, GA. She had four grandchildren: Rachel, Shawndee, April, and Ashley, and six great grand children. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home @ Glen Abbey on Saturday, July 7, 2007 from 3 till 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823. May the sun always be on your face and the wind at your back.
