CROSSETT-JOHNSON, Dorothy LillianJuly 28, 1913 - March 20, 2010 Dorothy (nee Dyer) passed away March 20th after stoically fighting a battle with cancer. Until recently, she commuted weekly between West Vancouver and Lynden, Wa., with her much beloved husband of 9 years, Ralph Johnson. Dorothy was an inspiration and mentor to everyone she came in contact with. As a jeweler in retail sales for 30 years, in the Bentall Center and at Park Royal with Firbanks, Grassies and Creative Goldsmiths - she touched people's hearts with her caring and creativity. Dorothy was the life of any party, always entertaining and full of fun; with wonderful stories to tell that were often embellished! She is survived by her loving family - children: Gary (Darlene) and Colleen (Jim) and grandchildren: Teri (Keith), Jason, Joshua, Joel, David and Diana and great-granddaughter Paige, nephews Gord (Betty) and Doug (Sharon); as well as step-children: Paul (Linda), Peter (Pam), Jennifer (Charlie), Michael, Donna (Dave) and Deborah (Steven) and step-grandchildren Meredith (Drew), Kimberley (Michael), Matthew, Jamie (Jake), Shane (Hatsady), Brendan (Jill), Jeremy, Andrew (Fumie), Courtenay, Jessie, Eden and great-step-grandchildren: Sage, Dylan, Mason, Lily, Madeleine, Samuel, Jack and Matthew! Many thanks to the staff in the Lynden Hospice Program, especially nurse Carren and Chaplain Cheryl, who supported us these past months.
