LEE--Dorothy Chuan, 86, beloved wife of Booker Lee, died May 18 in Denver, after residing many years in NYC, Scarsdale, Greenwich, and Ft. Lauderdale. Born in Harbin, China, she graduated from Aurora College and Cornell University. A food editor at McCall's and later head of test kitchens at General Foods, she was a pioneer in teaching Chinese cooking as an art form and high cuisine. Left to cherish her memory are son Benjamin (Jianying Zha), daughter Victoria, granddaughter Siri; sisters, brother, beloved friends. Memorial service Sunday, October 16, 2:30pm, 2nd Congregational Church, 139 E. Putnam Ave., Greenwich, CT.
