Lee, Dorothy I.Dorothy Ingrid Lee age 82 of Washington, CT, died Sunday July 20, 2014 at New Milford Hospital. She is the widow of Robert Lee.Mrs. Lee was born July 27, 1931 in Derby, CT a daughter of the late George J. and Esther P. (Johnson) Swanson. She was a lifelong resident of Washington, CT. Mrs. Lee loved flowers, especially orchids and humming birds. She enjoyed gardening, going to tag sales and in her youth baking. Mrs. Lee is survived by four sons; Stephen Lee and Timothy Lee, New Preston, CT; Gregory Lee and Robert Lee of Washington, CT; two daughters Melissa Lee Bronson, Brimfield, MA and Cynthia Lappala, New Milford, CT; two brothers, Paul Swanson of Florida and Gene Swanson, Bantam, CT; three sisters, Louise Miller, Roxbury, CT, Judy Williams, Kent, CT and Esther Camp of North Carolina; six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is predeceased by her son Jonathan Lee, 2 sisters, Ruth Wassong, Shirley Baslow and 4 brothers, George Swanson, Allan Swanson, John Swanson and Eric Swanson..Memorial Service will be held in the Colonial Funeral Home 87 Park Lane RD, New Milford, CT on Saturday July 26, 2014 at 11:00 am.
