Dorothy L. Reynolds May 31, 1932 - Mar. 25, 2014 JEWETT CITY - Dorothy L. Reynolds, 81, of Maple Street passed away Tuesday evening at her home. She was born May 31, 1932 in Sprague, daughter to the late Arthur and Beatrice (Brochu) Charron. She was married to Theodore Reynolds for 56 years. He predeceased her on December 13, 2008. In 1950 Dorothy graduated from Griswold High School. Prior to her retirement she worked at Zuckerbraun's Department Store in Jewett City for over 30 years. She loved watching men's and women's UCONN Basketball. Dorothy was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son Kenneth Reynolds and his wife Karen, her daughter Pamela Brunet and her husband Dennis, three grandchildren Marlene Brown and her husband Kevin, Jennifer Beaudoin and her husband Scott, and Paul Brunet and his wife Pam, three great grandchildren, and her husbands family that includes numerous in laws, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held 11:00 A.M. May 23, 2014 at the Pachaug Cemetery, Griswold with a celebration of life to follow at the VFW on Taylor Hill Road in Jewett City.
