MOORE Dorothy L. Ballard Moore, age 78, of Shelton, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2004, at St. Vincent-s Medical Center, Bridgeport. Mrs. Moore, a homemaker, was born in Bridgeport to the late William and Rose (Guzzi) Ballard, and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a volunteer for the Spooner House, and was the widow of Ronald L. Moore Sr. Survivors include her two devoted sons, Ronald L. Moore Jr. and his wife, Elena, of Monroe, and Roy Moore and his wife, Alicia, of Seymour; four grandchildren: Wendy Gurski, Amy, Julina and Roy Moore Jr.; one great-grandson, Eric Gurski; a sister, Rose Magyar of Florida; and a brother, Charles Ballard of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, with the Rev. James Stinson officiating. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
