Dorothy K. Hobbs, age 91 of Valparaiso, Fla., passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at her home. She was born in Wright, Fla., on Oct. 5, 1921, to Manuel and Mary Ann Atwell. She was a lifelong resident of Valparaiso with numerous years of service at the Valparaiso Elementary School cafeteria and she retired from the Twin Cities Hospital cafeteria. She is survived by her sons, Hubert W. Hobbs Jr., Raymond Hobbs and his wife, Patricia; granddaughters, Tina Hobbs Johnson, Crystal Hobbs Adkins and Theresa Hobbs; and numerous great-grandchildren.Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Twin Cities Funeral Home. Funeral services will be con-ducted at Twin Cities Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Valparaiso, Fla. Family wishes to thank Covenant Hospice with special recognition to Domenica B, Brian C., Doug H, Linda sue, and Deborah F.
