A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Dorsey and Pastor Louie Montoya officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Dorothy was born on June 15, 1938 in Hardin County, the daughter of Alfred Johnson and Etta Bratton Johnson. She was a homemaker and along with her husband, owned Woodlawn Upholstery Shop. Dorothy attended Trenton First Assembly of God. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leslie B. Johnson; daughters, Wanda (Ernest) Kelly and Carol Johnson; brothers, Edward Johnson, Elbert Johnson and Larry Johnson; sister, Marie Deberry; grandchildren, Tara Suiter, Matthew Kelly, Kayla Scott and Justin Johnson; great grandchildren, Madison Kelly and Landon Kelly. Pallbearers will be Matthew Kelly, Justin Johnson, Ryan Suiter, George Scott, Charles Johnson, Ed Baggett and David Baggett.Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, (931) 647-3371 NaveFuneralHomes.com
