JOHNSON Dorothy Johnson, 94, formerly of Jacksonville Beach, died in Palatka on February 21, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Parham “Jack” Johnson and a daughter, Marie Stoner. She is survived by her loving family, two sons, Oliver “Bubba” Johnson (Doreen), Walter “Sonny” Johnson (Sandy), two granddaughters, Ann Morton and Kim Slemp (Ron), five grandsons, James Morton (Kay), Dean Johnson (Phyletus), Wayne Johnson (Janelle), David Stoner and Donald Stoner Jr.(Beth). Also surviving are seven great grandchildren, Spencer and Kirsten Hamby, Katherine Gentry, Kelly Morton, Dean Johnson Jr., Thomas Slemp and Summer Stoner, three great great grandchildren, Spencer Hamby IV, Kayla and Corey Morton and 12 step great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24 from 6 - 8 pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday in the chapel at thefuneral home at 10:00 am. Pastor Roger Pickering will officiate. Burial will follow at H. Warren Smith Cemetery.
