OWEN-DUNN, DOROTHY JANE, 84, of Mt. Washington, died Sunday at her home. She was the former Dorothy Peacock, a former employee of Klotz Candy and Reynolds Metals Company and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Don (Doris) and Dean Owen (Diane); a daughter, Goldie Cissy Owen Boone; a stepdaughter, Frankie Dunn Hardison; her friend and companion, Virgil Phillips; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grand-children; and several stepgranchildren, nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at her church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday and noon-8 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mt. Washington and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
