Dorothy J. (Taylor) Cooper, 77, of Cemetery St. died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in the Milford Care & Rehab. Center. She was the wife of the late Francis W. Cooper who died in 2000. Mrs. Cooper was employed at the former Fair Dept. Store and the K-Mart Dept. Store, both in Milford. She was born Jan. 18, 1935 in Milford, daughter of the late Lee P. and Nettie F. (Hartling) Taylor. She was a graduate of Hopedale High School and was a lifelong Hopedale resident. Mrs. Cooper was an avid reader who enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching the Boston Red Sox. She is survived by two son, Donald L. Cooper of Hopedale and Steven D. Cooper of Bellingham; three daughters, Joyce L. Cooper of Mendon, Gail F. Criasia of Milford and Amy Gallant of Hampton, NH; a brother Richard Taylor of Florida; a sister Evelyn Allen of Upton; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be private in the Hopedale Village Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, c/o Breast Cancer Research, P.O.
